We’re doing our typical Sunday stuff around here. Errands, chores, relaxing at home, and getting ready for another week.
We slept in until after 7 (gasp!), and I started the morning with a beautiful juicy orange, a cup of goat milk yogurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a gluten free banana almond muffin (which I made on Thursday) topped with half a tablespoon of peanut butter.
Before we left for grocery shopping and a farmers market, I brewed a cup of tea.
I’m trying to increase my caffeine free selections and picked this one up at Target yesterday. I really like it!
I have so many pictures of radishes. They always look so lovely!
The flowers were irresistible today, and I bought two small bunches for our living room. Does anything make a room feel better than fresh flowers?
In addition to the flowers, we bought a bag or oranges and a couple dozen pastured eggs. Oh, and a small bag of kettle corn. Thanks for getting me re-addicted, Dad!
We dropped our groceries off at home and I had a quick snack.
Crackers, mozzarella, and strawberries.
Next, we ran a few more errands, which included a stop at World Market. I acquired some new tea accessories.
When we got home, I spent some time making my workout schedule for the week and cleaning up the house while Greg got to work on his never-ending homework.
Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, boiled egg, and sundried tomato and feta dip as dressing. Salad was followed by a banana with a tablespoon of peanut butter. And some kettle corn.
Greg took a break and we went for a walk, and now we’re just hanging out around home! My plans for the afternoon include catching up on blog reading and some articles I’ve been meaning to read, and also book reading. I’m currently reading I Capture the Castle, and I absolutely love it! Later on, we’re making long island iced teas and trying out a new pizza that we found at Trader Joe’s:
What are you up to today? Any new and interesting grocery finds lately?
